Setting GPRS Sony Ericsson k610i

I want to access Telkomsel WAP portal via GPRS:
Instructions

General Parameter
• Connection Name : APN Telkomsel
• Data Bearer : GPRS
• Access Point Name : telkomsel
• Username : wap
• Prompt Password : No
• Password : wap123
• Authentication : Normal
• Gateway IP address : 10.1.89.130
• Homepage : http://wap.telkomsel.com
• Connection Security : Off
• Session Mode : Permanent

GPRS Setting for K610i
1. Go to main menu, go to Settings
2. Scroll left and go to Connectivity and select Internet Settings
3. Go to Internet profiles, select New profile and press Add
4. Enter Name: Telkomsel GPRS
5. Go to Connect using, and Add New account
6. Select Account type: GPRS data
7. Enter Name of New account : WAP on GPRS
8. Enter APN: telkomsel
9. Enter User id : wap
10. Enter Password : wap123
11. Press Save to save your account. Screen will return to Data Accounts
12. Select your new profile then press Save again to go back to Internet Profiles.
13. Highlight your new profile “Telkomsel GPRS”. Press More then Settings.
14. Select Internet mode: HTTP
15. Select Use Proxy: Yes
16. Enter IP address: 10.1.89.130
17. Enter Port Number: 8000
18. Username : wap
19. Password : wap123
19. Leave the rest as default and press Save.
20. Highlight your new profile “Telkomsel GPRS”. Press More then Advanced.
21. Select Change homepage and enter following:
Name: Telkomsel GPRS
Address: http://wap.telkomsel.com
Press the back arrow key to return to Connectivity main menu.
22. To go to Telkomsel Portal you can go to Internet Services in main menu.

Mms Setting for K610i
1. Go to main menu, go to Connectivity and select Internet settings
2. Go to Internet profiles, select New profile and press Add
3. Enter Name: Telkomsel MMS
4. Go to Connect using, and Add New account
5. Select Account type: GPRS data
6. Enter Name of New account : Telkomsel MMS
7. Enter APN: mms
8. Enter User id : wap
9. Enter Password : wap123
10. Press Save to save your account. Screen will return to Data Accounts
11. Select your new profile then press Save again to go back to Internet Profiles.
12. Highlight your new profile “Telkomsel MMS”. Press More then Settings.
13. Select Internet mode: HTTP
14. Enter IP address: 10.1.89.150
15. Port number : 8000
15. Leave the rest as default and press Save.
16. Select Data accounts, go to your new profile, and select Edit
17. Scroll down to Advanced settings
18. Select Authentication: Normal
19. Leave default for the rest of the settings
20. Press the back arrow key to return to the main menu
21. From the main menu, go to Messaging and select Settings
22. Select Picture Message
23. Scroll to Message server and enter: http://mms.telkomsel.com/
24. Select Internet Profile: Telkomsel MMS
Press the back arrow key to go back to Messaging to start sending and receiving MMS messages


For GPRS subscribers who want to surf the Internet using their mobile phone as a modem with their notebook or PDA
Instructions
1. Push the jog-dial for the main menu, go to Connectivity and select Internet settings
2. Go to Internet profiles, select New profile and press Add
3. Enter Name: Telkomsel Internet
4. Go to Connect using, and Add New account
5. Select Account type: Telkomsel data
6. Enter Name of New account: Telkomsel Internet
7. Enter APN: internet
8. Enter User id: (blank)
9. Enter Password: (blank)
10. Select your new profile then press Save to go back to Internet Profiles menu
11. Press the back arrow key to return to Connectivity main menu and scroll down to Data comm.
12. Select Data accounts, go to your new profile, and select Edit
13. Scroll down to Advanced settings
14. Select Authentication: Normal
15. Leave default for the rest of the settings
16. Press the back arrow key to return to the main menu
17. Activate your IrDA/Bluetooth, and you may start establish connection with your phone (Note: please refer to our manual configuration on your device)
